Job Description

Purchasing Clerk Position now available with 50 year old company located near Midway Airport. Auto truck supplier with various product lines. Need to be able to multi-task and manage multiple job functions at the same time.

Job Requirements

  • Process purchasing requisitions and purchase orders
  • Entering purchase orders from approved purchase requisitions
  • Track purchase orders through the purchasing process
  • Send purchase orders to vendors
  • Preparing or editing purchase orders
  • Receiving documents to purchase orders
  • Submit and track purchase orders
  • Create and manage purchase orders
  • Creating purchase orders and requistions))
  • Do not accept purchase orders
  • Verify invoices from suppliers with quotes and purchase orders and approve invoices for payment
  • Ensure balance between contractual purchase orders and invoices
  • Follow up on outstanding purchase orders
  • Preparing purchase orders from branch requisitions
  • Prepare purchase orders or bid requests
  • Creating purchase orders as necessary/li
  • Enter purchase orders for miscellaneous items
  • Enter purchase orders in the computer system
  • Distribute purchase orders to appropriate departments and codes invoices for payment
  • Creating purchase orders and sends copies to supplier
