Job Description
Purchasing Clerk Position now available with 50 year old company located near Midway Airport. Auto truck supplier with various product lines. Need to be able to multi-task and manage multiple job functions at the same time.
Job Requirements
- Process purchasing requisitions and purchase orders
- Entering purchase orders from approved purchase requisitions
- Track purchase orders through the purchasing process
- Send purchase orders to vendors
- Preparing or editing purchase orders
- Receiving documents to purchase orders
- Submit and track purchase orders
- Create and manage purchase orders
- Creating purchase orders and requistions))
- Do not accept purchase orders
- Verify invoices from suppliers with quotes and purchase orders and approve invoices for payment
- Ensure balance between contractual purchase orders and invoices
- Follow up on outstanding purchase orders
- Preparing purchase orders from branch requisitions
- Prepare purchase orders or bid requests
- Creating purchase orders as necessary/li
- Enter purchase orders for miscellaneous items
- Enter purchase orders in the computer system
- Distribute purchase orders to appropriate departments and codes invoices for payment
- Creating purchase orders and sends copies to supplier
