Job Description

Messina Group is looking to hire an Outside Sales Representative in the Greater New York area for our client, an industry leader of proprietary cleaning and other textile products sold to and used by healthcare facilities, pharmaceutical industry, and hotel chains.  The ideal candidate has extensive experience selling to hospital building management companies, has established contacts in the industry, and is a talented, hardworking individual with great energy, leadership, and initiative to lead and further expand the client’s high growth region and grow their Healthcare and Hospitality book of business in the area. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Develop and drive strategy for growth and new customer acquisition regionally
  • Support all aspects of account development including, scheduling client meetings, visiting with decision makers, developing customer quotes, handling customer follow up, and closing business
  • Engage with your customers to provide on-going service and timely resolution
  • Prospect potential new customers through targeted outbound activity
  • Understand customer growth goals, strategies & initiatives, and establish our company as a preferred vendor
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales objectives
  • Manage account relationships, pipeline, and forecast

  • Ability to navigate a corporate environment and how to reach decision makers


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years’ sales experience preferably with a complex/strategic sales environment background
  • 4-year undergraduate degree
  • CRM experience preferred
  • Ability to travel with 25 percent (overnight travel)
  • Extensive knowledge, experience and contacts in healthcare facilities management companies such as Sodexo, Aramark, Northwell Health, etc
